About the event
Janet Martorello is a working, teaching and exhibiting Calligraphic & Book Artist.
She is currently an adjunct professor at Santa Monica College Emeritus, runs her own studio and teaches privately.
She trained as a medieval scribe under the head scribe to the Queen of England and many other world renowned Calligraphers.
She served 2 years on the Board of Directors for the Society for Calligraphy in Los Angeles.
She delights in sharing the joy that this art can bring to all who learn it and all who receive it.
